Nature Tours

Enjoy a guided nature walk on the trails throughout the year from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Hoffman Center Nature Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary, 6000 Northern Blvd., Muttontown (between Route 106 and 107 – just west of Martin Viette Nursery). LI Coaching Alliance

Syosset Camera Club

Beauty and the Beast

COPE Support Groups

COPE, a grief and healing organization dedicated to supporting parents and families living with the loss of a child, holds free weekly support groups. •Feb. 20: Monthly support group meeting for parents two Mondays per month for parents on the North Shore. 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Free.

•Feb. 27: Sibling support group meetings on the third or fourth Monday of the month for adult siblings on the North Shore. 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Groups for siblings ages 5-10 and 11-17 also available. Free.

•Feb. 21-24 Ocean Explorers Camp. Join the popular camp for an under-the-sea adventure. •March 4: Ocean Science Sunday: Submarines. In honor of National Submarine Day in March, enter the world of submarines. Muttontown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

The Fellowship provides an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie, with talks presented by intelligent enlightening and non-dogmatic speakers who come from the entire spectrum of the Arts, History and Sciences. This is followed by coffee and an informal discussion circle, held in the turn-of-the-18th century farmhouse in a bucolic setting. Port North Spring Boys Basketball

Port North is a 3-year-old independent basketball team based out of Port Washington that plays year round in the super league at Island Garden and various tournaments in the metropolitan area. The program currently has a combined record of 30 - 3 in the winter super league. The emphasis is on teaching the fundamentals, developing good practice habits and preparing players for middle and high school basketball. The team has a professional trainer with over 20 years experience. We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated basketball players in grades 4 through 10 who are interested in trying out for spring and AAU basketball. Stroke Life Society is a community organization of survivors and co-survivors in the pursuit of living and helping others. A stroke can be very isolating.
